Research Mission Statement



	The EIPM research center mission is to provide companies with leading edge research in purchasing and supply chain management , in order to increase their ability in managing successfully in the face of increasingly complex markets, feeding at the same the evolution of the academic thought in those areas and our teaching activities with the final objective to translate research into action.
	The creation of that research centre became a necessity for different reasons: • lack of a real European dimension in the purchasing research • the actual gap in between purchasing academic research and business world • the necessity to anticipate the future in purchasing and supply management • the need to assist purchasing function in its future development.
