 Objective

For our 15th anniversary The EIPM will be launching the 1st Asia Pacific Round table which is an adaptation of the Annual European Round table that has been so successful for the past years. However the topic and theme will be close to the heart of Asia.

This exclusive Round table will be the place where you can exchange best practices, benchmark, create a network. Guest speakers from leading companies and the EIPM Professors will present a series of Company success stories and latest research activities. Upon which there will be opportunities for brainstorming and workout sessions with the various workshops sessions to exchange views and benchmark with leading global companies.

The Asia Pacific region has for these past years attracted leading global companies eager to source parts and products for developed markets, mainly based on the attractive labour cost differential.

This situation is now changing and companies have to analyse the Economic Environment more precisely and use other parameters and not only raw product cost based on hourly labour cost. With the region’s rapid economic rise, purchasing has to take on a more strategic role similar to Western Countries. To build more emphasis on innovation, value, time to market, finding right suppliers, building key relationships with strategic suppliers etc.

You are facing today new challenges in applying and adapting western concepts in a new environment.
