In the current volatile and demanding business environment, Internal Business Partnering is increasingly on the agenda of purchasing teams eager to act as a strategic catalyst.
Being effective at business partnering allows purchasing teams to be at the heart of business decisions. They gain advanced understanding of their business partners’ needs, offer various solutions and assess their impact. They challenge their thinking and help their internal partners to take informed decisions. In a nutshell, they act as a co-pilot ensuring that the best external solutions are leveraged.
This requires the development of a shared vision and a culture of mutual trust. To achieve these, Purchasing needs to take the lead, gain recognition and establish new ways of working that lead to superior performance.
The purpose of the workshop is to share practices on how to become more effective at business partnering.
