-  These annual Awards will be given at the beginning of December in Geneva, during the Annual EIPM Convention. 

-  The purpose of the Awards is to recognise procurement organisations that:

     o  Could be role models for others
     o  Deliver outstanding performance to their company
     o  Demonstrate high levels of creativity and innovation
     o  Implement and deploy advanced and efficient processes
     o  Respect and develop suppliers
     o  Are environmentally and socially responsible

-  The application for the Awards, using the assessment tool, is complemented by a rigorous nomination process, founded on fact-based criteria, the EFQM Excellence Model and EFQM best practices.

-  The whole process is managed by the Awards Jury, comprised of industry leaders, academics and consultants. The Jury nominates finalists based on the content of their assessment, and selects the winners after on-site visits by professional assessors, who validate the information and evidence of performance provided in the assessment.

-  This process is fully compatible with application for the EFQM Awards and can be re-used when your company decides to apply for any EFQM recognition or award.
