The
Executive MBA specialised in Purchasing
The
MBA is a must today for ambitious and talented executives. Today all
the other functions such as Marketing, Finance, Management have
their specialised MBA programmes offered by Business schools
worldwide. The EIPM executive MBA is the flagship for the purchasing
and supply function as is today the sole MBA qualified and
accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs).
This is the executive training needed to bring excellence to the
purchasing function. As a purchasing executive, you must encourage
talented and experienced potentials to pursue this MBA to increase
the recognition of the contribution made by the purchasing and
supply function.
After 10 years of service to the EIPM, our recent MBA Director,
Elda Simonaska has left the organisation to join a major consulting
company. She has built up a strong foundation for the course and
contributed considerably to the accreditation of the MBA
programme.
As our flagship programme and we are investing considerably on
the development and research activities. In fact Professor Phil Eyre
(PHD) will be replacing Ms Simonaska starting May, he will be
overall in charge of the MBA programme. Dr Eyre will also lead the
applied research for companies while giving direction to the
executive in company course programmes as well as the more specific
multi-company courses such as the CAPC (Certified Advanced
Purchasing courses).
This complete team will accelerate and reinforce the development
the existing pedagogic tools. They will also contribute to the
launch of the ART (Asia Pacific Round Table for VP Purchasing) in
September 2006 as well as the new CAPC programme starting this
Autumn in Asia.
