The European Conference of EFMD in march 2006

Following up on the global conference in purchasing research, IPSERA last year, the EIPM will be hosting in March 23rd-26th the Annual MBA Directors Conference of the European Foundation for Management Development. The EFMD is the Certifying Body for EQUIS and EPAS. The EFMD is the most important European Association in the field of Management Education. Read more 
 
Present in over 40 countries, the EFMD plays a key role in determining the European approach in management training. They are also active in developing international co-operations in the domain of training and in fixing international standards of quality. The EQUIS, European Quality Improvement System, has been set by the EFMD to encourage the quality of tertiary management institutes in Europe.
 
More than 100 of the major worldwide business schools will be present. In 2004, the MBA Director Conference was held in Wharton University of Pennsylvania. The 2006 Conference title is “Changing the way to do Business.” Purchasing and supply management is a key strategic function which needs to get more focus from top management schools. By holding this conference, the EIPM proves its leadership in purchasing and supply management education and will try to promote this function with other schools.
