Director's message

Dear partners,
Going forward, what can you expect in 2006?

For its 15th Anniversary year, the EIPM will publish the first European Benchmark (Cross Sectorial Study). We will also launch the 1st European Benchmarking Sectoral Clubs to share best-practices amongst executives from various sectors. New research initiatives are also in place to conduct in-depth company studies (SRM, Competencies). With regards to the growing training needs in China and the Asia Pacific region we are investing more resources to promote the different CAPCs, the Assessment of Competences and the first Asia Pacific Round table for purchasing executives. Finally roll out of complete distance learning programmes and launch of the exchange web-based forums.
2006 and beyond. With our measures in place for training, education and research activities, we are on the right track in being your education partner in the domain of purchasing expertise.
2005 gave the recognition of the EIPM MBA at the top level (AMBA Accreditation). We will consolidate this recognition by bringing more innovation in this flagship programme … to follow.

Bernard Gracia - EIPM Director
