The Bee Resources contains
12 job positions, 27 activities linked to the job, and over 60 competencies that are identified to best perform the activities.
The user first selects his job then selects the activities that are relevant and pertinent to this job. This is followed by the actual assessment itself. The questionnaire is structured in different formats, including self-evaluation scales, multiple-choice questions, quizzes and scenarios. The objective is to measure the buyer’s knowledge, expertise and behaviour to determine his professional level of competence. The six categories of
competencies or skills tested are: management, leadership, communication, decision making, purchasing technical skills and external skills.
Candidates guard by anonymity as the assessment is carried out through an anonymous login of his choice. Participants will receive their own individual profile result. The
results are displayed on spider-chart format, based on six axis representing the six competencies necessary to perform the activities. Managers of a group will receive a global report of their entire team as well as a position report detailing the performance of users of various job positions. These reports enable managers to determine the crucial improvements to make to address the competency gaps in their team.
